Rachel Miller: Historian

Rachel Miller is a senior at Barnegat High School in Troupe #7363 and is coming back for her second year on the New Jersey State Thespian Board. She started becoming interested in theatre in her freshman year of high school, where she joined her school’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream when asked by a friend. After five plays and three musicals, Rachel is now the president of her theatre troupe and is excited to get more people involved with the performing arts before she graduates. She also competes in NJDFL competitions and has performed in productions with the Ashley Lauren Theatre Ensemble.

Gabi Wojcik: STO Co-Chair

Gabi Wojcik is excited to be a part of the New Jersey State Thespian Board for the second time. She is a senior at Toms River High School North and is the Vice President of Troupe #7455. You can usually find her harmonizing with every living thing inside and outside of school. Her first ever production was Annie in which she played Pepper. From that moment on she has been in a plethora of productions in her school and with community theatres, some of which include: Oliver!, Legally Blonde, 9 to 5, Xanadu, Little Mermaid, etc. Gabi spends most of her time creating tunes on her ukulele, speaking Polish to confuse people and radiating positive vibes. Get excited for Thes Fest 2017! Woo!

Dylan Regan: STO Co-Chair

Dylan Regan, a senior at Toms River High School North, is beyond excited to serve as a Veteran STO Member for the 2016-2017 school year. He is currently the President of the Nautical Star Theatre Company. Some of Dylan’s past performances include Charlie Bucket in Willy Wonka Jr., Flounder in The Little Mermaid Jr., and Merriman in The Importance of Being Earnest. He also enjoyed his roles in Xanadu, Legally Blonde, Oliver!, and 9 to 5. You can usually find him making puns or listening to Broadway showtunes. He cannot wait to attend ThesFest 2017!

Lauren Rejent: Member at Large

Lauren Rejent is a senior at Robbinsville High School and is incredibly excited to be a part of the New Jersey State Thespian Board. Lauren is the President of Drama Club, and her favorite roles include Gabriella in High School Musical, Florinda in Into the Woods, Alice in You Can’t Take it with You, and Mitzi in A Murder is Announced. In her free time Lauren enjoys playing ukulele, eating cheese fries, and telling bad jokes. She is beyond excited for Thesfest 2017!

Shawna Vice: Member at Large

As a senior at Toms River High School North, Shawna Vice is glad she is ending her high school career with a bang! After being involved with Xanadu, Legally Blonde, The Importance of Being Earnest, 9 to 5, and Oliver!, she cannot wait to have a bang up time with her fellow Thespians at ThesFest 2017. Her extracurricular pursuits include coloring, sleeping, and hanging out with her best friend, Perry the Platypus.

Rachael Shklyarov: Secretary

 Rachael Shklyarov is a senior at the Morris County School of Technology and a proud member of Troupe #7890. This is her first year as a STO Member, and she is glad to be the first from VoTech to represent her school as a State Thespian Officer. Her favorite performance so far was as Marya in The Government Inspector last fall. From her very shy beginning as a performing arts student in a new high school, she has been able to break out of her shell and become a leader that is motivated to perform and create. She is very excited for ThesFest 2017!

D’Ionna West: Co-Social Media Specialist

D’Ionna West is a Senior at Burlington County Institute  Medford Troupe #7891. She is So excited to be apart of the STO board this year!  D’Ionna Is currently the President of Troupe #7891. Some of her past shows have been Godspell; Pippin; Chicago. She is super stoked to be surrounded by like minded artist, and leaders. Being very outgoing D’Ionna is motivated to put a smile on everyone’s face and have a Great Time!

Claire Nicosia: STO Vice-Chair

Claire is a Junior at Northern Burlington.  She is the treasurer of her Thespian Troupe, #4762.  She is very excited to be a part of the State Board!  Some of her past high school shows include Grease, Thirteen Past Midnight, and Fiddler on the Roof.  Claire hopes this year’s Thespian Festival is better than ever! Yeahhhhh

Justin Wasson: Troupe Development Coordinator

Justin is a Senior at Robbinsville High School and a member of Troupe #7161. He is super excited to be a member of the 2016-2017 State Board. He’s been involved in theater since eighth grade and hasn’t stopped since. Some of his past shows have been Into the Woods, You Can’t Take It With You, A Murder is Announced, and Chamber Music. When not on stage or working behind the scenes, he enjoys listening to music, hiking, and camping with his friends. Justin is ready for ThesFest 2017 to be the best one yet!

Stephanie Minock: Historian

Stephanie is a Junior at Northern Burlington. She has been involved in multiple shows including Grease, Fiddler on the Roof, and David and Lisa. Steph is currently the secretary of her Thespian Troupe, #4762. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music, sleeping, and crocheting. Stephanie is super excited to be on State Board this year and hopes ThesFest 2017 is going to be the best one yet!

Katie Bank: Co-Social Media Specialist

Katie is a senior at Barnegat High school troupe #7363 and Vice president of her theatre department. Past shows include A Midsummers Nights Dream, Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Carol, Aladdin and the wonderful lamp, and The Addams Family. She is absolute Hamiltrash and is not afraid to show it. She is super pumped to be a part of the State Board this year. Theatre has always had a place in her heart and she excited to be able to share her love for theatre with so many different people. This year is going to be great one!

Damaris-Lydia Odebode: Member at Large

Damaris-Lydia is a senior at Ocean County’s Performing Arts Academy, troupe 6185, and she is extremely excited to be a part of New Jersey’s State Board! She is the treasurer of her Thespian Troupe and very active within her school community. Some of her past credits include: Cinderella, Sweet Charity, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and Grease. Damaris-Lydia also enjoys the technical side of theatre and when she is not on stage or behind the scenes she can be found enjoying the sweet voice that is John Legend. She is ready to do all she can to make this year one to remember!

Jacquelyn Wycoff: Fundraising Specialist

Jacqie is a senior at Ocean County’s Performing Arts Academy and co-president of Thespian Troupe #6185. Some past credit include The Life of Galileo, Cinderella, Smokey Joe’s Café, and she currently performs in a tour of Lady Parts; Jacqie also enjoys working backstage. When not in the theatre, she can be found petting dogs, doing something Jewish, or watching documentaries. Jacqie can’t wait to see what this amazing student board helps to create this year!
